I~J ______________nJ__ Agenda Item-No.6~- 75-0262 Clk OF SAN BERNARDIWo - REQUWT FOR COUNCIL A~ON STAFF REPORT All work included in the contract for the modification of Traffic Signals at Lynwood and Del Rosa Avenue was satisfactorily completed as of September 4, 1985. Liquidated damages in the amount of $100 per day were assessed for an over-run of 29 days in the specified contract time. The contract was awarded for the low bid price of $33,824.00. The actual final contract price is $30,924.00, due to the reduction of $2,900.00 for liquidated damages. Only labor costs are reflected in the contract price, since the materials were furnished by the City. Approximately 50% of the cost for this project will be borne by the County under terms of the Cooperative Agreement. We recommend that the work be approved and accepted, and final payment authorized. 75-0264
