Currently there are seven (7) offices maintained, and total expenditure for rent and utilities for all seven (7) is $9,684. per year, averaged. To maintain full insurance coverage for all seven (7) offices, Risk Management sets the cost at $10,500. per year. In order to keep the seven (7) offices open five (5) days per week (40 hours, they are manned by seven (7) Police Assistants (one per office) with an annual salary figure for all seven (7) at $109,573. The cost for seven (7) offices including rent, utilities, insurance, four (4) vehicles for the Police Assistants and a total of eighteen (18) Police Assist- ants dedicated to the Community Based Policing concept is $344,847.
