LJ. - - . CIIf OF SAN BERNARD.Io - REQUQr FOR COUNCIL AcRoN o STAFF REPORT At a meeting of the Mayor and Common Council on July 22, 1985, prior to discussion of the adoption of the Administrative budget for the Redevelopment Agency, a lengthy discussion was held relative to reimbursement to the Council Office for annual Council assistance to RDA. In a memorandum dated July 18, 1985, directed to Council member Strickler, the City Administrator presented a report on City Council expenses chargeable to the Redevelopment Agency. The report is based on information provided by Council staff and the 1985/86 budget. The City Administrator was directed to'meet with the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency to review the Memorandum from the City Administrator regarding expenses of the Council Office proposed to be charged to RDA, and to consider expenses the RDA incurs when providing services to other City departments. Both to agree on a figure and report back to the Council on August 5, 1985. Due to the heavy work load of the Redevelopment Agency during the week of July 23rd, and deadlines which had to be met with regard to the scheduled Public Hearing on the UDAG application for the development in State College Business Park, and the fact that three key personnel were on vacation during this week, it became impossible to schedule a meeting with the City Administrator within this short period of time. At the meeting of August 5, the report on expenses of Council offices to be charged to Redevelopment Agency in providing services to City departments was continued to August 19, 1985. o This matter was brought to the attention of the RDA Committee at their meeting of August 6, 1985, at which time the Committee was informed that Phil Arvizo, Mr. Matzer and Councilman Strickler would schedule a meeting to try and resolve the matter of expenses for Council support provided the Redevelopment Agency, and staff would advise the Committee of the time and place. It is recommended that this matter be referred to the Redevelopment Committee for their review at the meeting of August 20 and continued to the workshop meeting scheduled for August 26, 1985. o 75-0264
