The contract was awarded for the low bid price of $448,000.00. The actual final contract price is $464,782.76, due to the net aggregate increase of Change Orders No. I, 2 and 3. A letter has been received from the Architect, Gregory Villanueva, A.LA. and Associates, certifying that the work included in Bid Package No.2 is 100% complete. Also, a recommendation has been submitted by the Construc- tion Manager, J. D. Diffenbaugh, recommending that the contract be accepted as complete and final. This includes correction of all punch list items. Change Order #3 was their last change order. If this has been approved. we therefore recommend that the City accept this contract as 100% complete and final. Please send us a copy of the Council action for our records, so that we may record the start of their warranty period. It is our under- standing that your office will file the Notice of Completion.
