CiTCOF SAN BERNARDIIO - REQUEQ FOR COUNCIL AC~N
STAFF REPORT
The owners of property in need of weed abatement are sent
notices to clean their property and are advised that if
not done within ten days, the City will clean the property
and assess the charges. All owners of the properties
listed on Exhibit "A" were sent notices and the City did
the cleaning. Bills were sent for abatement and property
owners advised that bills not paid by July 31, 1985, would
have the charges assessed against the property and a lien
placed on such property until paid. These costs are added
to the property tax bill and collected by the County Tax
Collector's office.
