Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On May 20, 1985, Ordinance No. MC-46l was adopted establishing that
fees for plan review aDd permits for on-site improvements would be
established by resolution. Resolution No. 85-223 was adopted
June 17, 1985, setting fees for plan review of on-site improvement
plans and permit fees for curb and gutter, planter curb, cross
and ribbon gutter, sidewalk, and pavement for on-site improvements.
Recommended motion:
Schedule a public hearing for July 15, 1985,at 9:00 a.m.

STAFF REPORT
Ordinance No. MC-46l was adopted on May 20, 1985. This
ordinance authorizes the Mayor and Common Council to adopt
by resolution fees for Review of Plans for On-Site Improve-
ments and fees for On-Site Improvement Permits. These are
new fees. Under California Government Code Section 54992
a public hearing must be held before new fees can be adopted.
Attached for your review is a copy of the proposed resolution
establishing the new fees, which may be adopted July 15, 1985,
after the public hearing. The proposed resolution repeals
Resolution No. 85-223 because the schedule of fees was
incomplete.

REVIEW FEES AND PERMIT FEES FOR ON-SITE IMPROVEMENT PLANS AND
3 REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 85-223.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON corNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

6 SECTION 1. Red tals.
7 A. Ordinance No. MC-46l provides that the Mayor and Common
8 Council may by resolution establish fees for on-site improvement
9 plan review and for on-.si te improvement permits; and
10 B. California Government Code Section 54992 requires the
11 holding of at least one public hearing prior to the levy of a new
12 fee or service charge by a local agency.
13 SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 15.04.175 of the San
14 Bernardino Municipal Code, the following plan review fees for on-
15 site improvement plans shall be effective within the City of San
16 Bernardino:

18 Curb and gutter $0.025/L.F.
Planter curb $0.015/L.F.
19 Cross gutter/Ribbon gutter $O.Ol/S.F.
Sidewalk $0 .005/S. F.

21 Drainage facilities 2.5% est. const. cost
Private sewer mains $0.025/L.F.
22 Sewer cleanouts and manholes No Fee
23 SECTION 3. Pursuant to Section 15.04.177 of the San
24 Bernardino Municipal Code, the following on-site improvement
25 permit fees shall be effective within the City of San Bernardino:
