OITY OF SAN BEft)lARDINO cr MEMORANDUO To Members of City Council Subject Committee Assignments From Council Office Date May 31, 1985 Approved Date Since Councilman Ralph Hernandez has submitted his resigna- tion from all committee assignments, I would like to make the following recommendations to fill those vacancies and the vacan- cies created by Councilman Robert A. Castaneda's departure. The Ways and Means Committee, Redevelopment Committee and RDA Vice Chairman recommendations have already been made and passed by Council action. The fOllowing recommendations are made: Personnel Committee - Replace Councilman Hernandez with Councilman Marks Transportation Committee - Replace Councilman Castaneda with Councilwoman Estrada Solid Waste Committee - Replace Councilman Hernandez with Councilwoman Estrada "E" Street/City Revitalization Committee - Replace Councilman Castaneda with Councilman ~ Housing Committee/Low/Moderate Income - Replace Councilman Castaneda with Councilwoman Estrada Replace Councilman Hernandez with Councilman Strickler Since the Legislative Review Committee has assumed responsi- bility of reviewing the locomotive removal, I would recommend that the Ad Hoc Committee be dissolved. These are my recommendations. Please consider them. If you have other recommendations, please let me know. If I do not re- ceive any correspondence regarding these recommendations, they will be made at the June 17 Council Meeting.
