These diffusers are not compatible with the suspended ceiling specified, so an alternate type will have to be used. Change Order No. Two will direct the Contractor to furnish and install Krueger Model #4200 diffusers in lieu of Krueger MOdel #2100 units. Some conflicts were discovered during construction between ductwork and structural beams. This change order will also relocate some air intakes in the atrium to resolve these conflicts. o Attached is a copy of the memorandum from Mr. Don Rogers, Construction Manager, dated 3-13-85. In this memorandum Mr. Rogers recommends that Change Order No. Two be approved. We concur with this recommendation. The Budget vs. Bid Analysis, dated 12-6-84, included an amount of $20,000.00 for estimated future change orders. Of this amount, $5,000.00 was listed under Bid Package No.9, HVAC. Therefore, approval of this Change Order, for an increase in cost of $1,639.02 will not invalidate the Financial Report, dated 12-10-84, that was presented at the Council Meeting of 12-17-84. Resolution No. 84-187 awarded a contract for the Base Bid, plus Additive Alternates No. 1 and 3, for a total bid price of $369,128.00. However, the contract referred only to the Base Bid.
