Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Council action is sought for authorized destruction of personnel records which
pertain to employees who have terminated their employment more than five (5)
year ago.
Records consist of supervisor's copy of evaluation reports, copy of application
and background form and miscellaneous documents which pertain to the training
records.
See list of names, including hire dates and termination dates.
Recommeno:led motion:
Adopt resolution to authorize the destruction of personnel records as maintained
by the Record Bureau for employees who have terminated employment more than
five (5) years ago.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING THE
DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino do hereby approve the destruction by the Police
Department of certain records, more particularly described in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein as fully as
though set forth at length.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that the
records are no longer needed, and they may be destroyed pursuant
to Government Code Section 34090, upon written consent of the City
Attorney.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a
