Prince Subject: Contract with Inland Mediation Oept: City Attorney Oaw: April 5, 1985 Synopsis of Previous Council action: On March 18, 1985, Council considered an agreement with Inland Mediation Board for mobile home park mediation. The Council adopted Resolution No. 85-105 authorizing the agreement with the following interdelineation, "an inclusion of a maximum charge of $500 without further approval of the Council." Recommen<:led motion: A. That the amendment to Resolution No. 85,-105 by interdelineation "to include a maximum charge of $500 without further approval of the Council" be rescinded, and that the resolution be approved in its original form. OR B. Repeal Resolution No. 85-105. (Repeal of Resolution No. 85-105 would leave in effect the contract with Inland dated October 16, 1983 and amendment thereto dated February 10, 1984. I asked Mrs. Davidow whether she would be willing to insert in the agreement a $51111 per case limit with the understanding that before any costs were incurred above the $51111 limit, she would return to Council to obtain approval. Mrs. Davidow indicated that all of her agreements include the $511 per hour rate and that she did not wish to make any modification relating to a $51111 limit. Mrs. Davidow indicated that she has had only one case go over $51111. She is willing to execute the agreement as presented to City Council on March 18. JM/md ;j l...-.... ..
