Dept: Date: March 27, 1985 Synopsis of Previous Council action: December 17, 1984 -- Resolution #84-530 adopted requiring any request for sewer capacity rights in excess of 75 be submitted to the Mayor and Common Council for approval. Recommended motion: That the request of Inland Development Group for the purchase of 104 sewer capacity rights in connection with the development of the Meyers Ranch Project located east of Tippecanoe, south of Baseline, be approved. " C~ OF SAN BERNARrAO - REQUQT FOR COUNCIL Ae9.0N STAFF REPORT Mr. Lester Hribar has requested 104 sewer capacity rights from the City's reserved units. The policy adopted by the Mayor and Common Council re- quires that any request over 75 units be submitted to them for consideration. (Resolution#84-530, Section 5). In view of the fact that the proper City agencies have already approved the zoning, conditional use permit, density bonus and multi-family mortgage revenue bond issuance in the amount of $11,500,000 for this project, it appears that the sewer capacity rights approval is perfunctory. Without these rights, the project cannot be constructed. This is Phase I (7 acres) with density bonus.
