C'CY OF" SAN BERNAR~O - REQ'OST FOR COUNCIL J()rION STAFF REPORT The Engineering Division received a request from the Association of Pacific Palms Mobile Home Park to establish a "NO PARKING" zone on the South side of Pacific Street fronting their property (approximately 150' on each side of their driveway). The purpose of this request is to provide unobstructed sight distance for their tenants, mostly senior citizens, exiting from the mobile home park. An on-site engineering review was subsequently conducted. The review indicates that the requested no parking zone will alleviate the sight distance obstruction and the request will not present any significant adverse impacts to the Pacific Street traffic flow. The Engineering Division hereby recommends that 300 feet of "NO PARKING" zone be established on the South side of Pacific Street fronting the Pacific Palms Mobile Home Park. URGENCY CLAUSE: The Police Department needs to enforce the no parking restriction as soon as possible. 2 15-0.264 o~. o o o 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 3 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3985 ENTITLED IN PART "A RESOLUTION . . .
