12-17-84 -- Resol ution No. 84-542 adopted awarding a contract for
the low bid price of $44,594.90.
Recommended motion:
That Change Order No. One to the contract with Bob Britton, Inc. for
the construction of Improvements to La Plaza Park, in accordance
with Plan No. 6498, be approved; to authorize the installation of a

restrooms, at an increase in contract price of $462/00 from
$44,594.90 to $45,056.90.

STAFF REPORT
Change Order No. One will authorize and direct the contractor to
change the water supply line to the restrooms at La Plaza Park from
one-inch to two-inch. This change is necessary to meet the water
demand of the fixtures in the restrooms.
The total estimated project cost, based upon the actual low bid
price, included an amount of $7,365.10 for contingencies, which can
be used to finance the cost of this extra work.
We recommend that Change Order No. One be approved.
