CIT{)OF SAN BERNARDI A - REQUEQ FOR COUNCIL AC~N
STAFF REPORT
The Meadowbrook Amateur 80xing Academy is a voluntarily run youth boxing program
which leases the boxing facility at Kerwin Field (Rialto and Allen). The program
provides free training and conditioning for community youth and the City provides
support through a $l/a-year lease arrangement assistance with an annual exhibition
and occasional provision of equipment.
The proposed funds would provide punching bags, bag gloves and practice gloves.
This support is consistant with the City's support of this program in the past
as well as support of other youth oriented programs.
This project has been coordinated with the Council Office.
