STAFF REPORT
The Legislative Review Committee has recommended that buildings
located in the downtown business district of the parking district
which remain vacant for more than 180 days shall be subject to the parking
space requirements of the parking district. However, such buildings
would be exempt therefrom if they are renovated in conformity with
criteria established by resolution of the Mayor and Common Council
except for any additions or structural enlargements.
Prior to the effective date of this ordinance, it will be necessary
to adopt a resolution establishing the criteria for renovation of
the buildings.
