STAFF REPORT
The Greyhound Corporation has requested we enter into a short term lease for
the use of Agency owned land located at "F" and Rialto Streets. Greyhound is
building a new facility at 596 North "G" Street and needs a temporary location
during construction.
The terms of the lease would be:
o From March 1, 1985 to September 30, 1985.
o One three month extension, if the new facility is not completed by
September 30.
o Greyhound to pave the area to City satisfaction. Agency to retain the
option to have Greyhound remove the paving, or leave it in place.
o Greyhound to construct a temporary station (not a trailer).
o Greyhound to secure all necessary City permits. Greyhound intends to
start preparing the site prior to the City Planning Commission being in
a positon to approve a Conditional Uae Permit which is expected prior
the end of March.
o Agency to be held harmless
o For the use of the site, Greyhound will pay $1,000 per month starting
March 1.
Commission permission for the Executive Director to enter into a temporary
rental agreement is requested.
