1. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM MIX AND BUDGET
CONSIDERATION - This item was continued to next meeting.
2. RDA EMPLOYMENT LINKAGE PROGRAM - RDA was not ready for
presentation; therefore, this item was continued.
3. RDA CONTRACT COMPLIANCE PROGRAM/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION POLICY
FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION - This item was continued.
Discussion ensued regarding the necessity for clear, concise, un-
derstandable policy. The Committee requested RDA to research the
possibility of separate policies, if necessary, for CDBG and RDA.
Additionally, RDA is to provide employment and population portfolio
statistics along with percentages of targeted groups. RDA staff,
in coordination with the City Administrator and City Attorney, will
file the report with this Committee for consideration.
4. ASSIGNMENT OF PARKING WITHIN THE 5-LEVEL PARKING STRUCTURE
- This item was continued. City Administrator was requested to
research the Leonard-Wirtz study, research the impact of any changes
on the general public, city employees, and present parking struc-
ture occupants. In addition, staff was requested to take immediate
action to eliminate the hazardous and unsafe signing, or lack there-
of, in the parking structure.
