Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Previous Planning Commission action:
At the meeting of the Planning Commission on January 22, 1985, the following
recommendation was made:
The application for Change of Zone No, 84-30 was unanimously recommended for
approval.
The Negative Declaration for environmental review was also recommended for
approval,
Recommen<:led motion:
To approve the responses to comments and to adopt the Negative Declaration
for environmental review which has been reviewed and considered.
To approve, modify or reject the findings and the recommendations of the
Planning Commission and to direct the City Attorney to prepare the
necessary amendments to the Zoning Ordinance.

Duri.n:J the Planning Ccmnissioo meeting of Decanber 18, 1984, there was
a ooncern about the obs&vation 114 of the staff report 00 the al:x>ve
application with respect to the potential of 25% density tonus for
low-m:xierate incane family lxlusing under the state law.
I understand that the City's attorneys' will be providing their
opinioo and possible solutioo to this city-wide issue. As a natter
of fact, we as applicant have not requeSted such a density bonus
and are not planning to do so.
Therefore, we, C.C. San Bernardino, Inc. would like to inform you
that we waive our right to seek such a density tonus permitted tmder
the state law.
