A(a) City Attorney Sonia Carvalho reported that staff received authorization to enter into a settlement agreement for item A(a) the Zaragoza case. The Mayor and City Council approved a settlement of $30,000. Items A(b-e) the Mayor and City Council by unanimous vote authorized settlements to the cases with no cost to the City. CITY MANAGER UPDATE At this time, City Manager Rob Field provided citywide updates to the Mayor and City Council. City Manager Field requested that the item that was distributed the prior evening to the Mayor and City Council be added as Item No. 27A on the Consent Calendar.
