If you pass this, property owners will find ways to raise rent and fees and put more requirements, fees and deposits on tenants and make it harder for them to qualify and migend up making us a hated property owner renting out a property. Why not help property owners , so they can run their business in a fair manner. Mom and Dad owners are not making a killing on rent, they are trying to make things work. It's getting to the point we might want just to leave the property vacante, which does not help anyone. Fairness to my wife and I who saved and invested to have some income during our retirement years. This seems to be stealing our retirement funds that we worked and sacrificed for, to be given to others who may not have. How can you believe paying attorneys to sue property owners is a fair deal. Maybe take that money and pay the rent that is due.... really. Be honest, fair and proud. Michael and Karen Kadletz rental property in Running Springs. 2 bed 1 bath, but nice with pride of ownership.
