Being a part of the IEBWC IE Works program has opened up so many avenues of success
for me. It's been a golden opportunity for me to develop skills with training in the water field.
The resources available and support navigating opportunities within the water wastewater
industry, Im confident I will be an asset to my community workforce. I'm blessed, this has been
a Godsend. With support and newly applied knowledge I’m obtaining enhanced economic
growth. Building equitable opportunities for myself within viable employment opportunities of
water/waste water, My future is bright! I thank God for putting me in a position to be a complete
provider for my family. I'm building my legacy, meeting goals. I am maximizing my potential in
the workforce. I have so much confidence and that’s all due to the support of system that
IEBWC has implemented to bring us to the point where success is a tangible asset in our lives!
2. How do you plan on leveraging the program for your future and community?
I want to see my peers and people within my community take an active role in the water
industry. There is so much work to do in keeping our water system safe for us. Taking
advantage of these opportunities is so important. My goal is to work in a wastewater facility in
Operations. Then move up and become a senior Operator in wastewater. I also see myself
continuing working in community resource development. I love research and statistics. I want to
share my story with others and assist in navigating on their path to success.
