RE: San Manuel Landing- Support
Dear City Council members,
The San Bernardino School Police Officers Association would like to express our sincere support for the
San Manuel Landing project. San Manuel Landing, designed by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians
and Trammell Crow, is the reimagined use for a 50+ acre lot on the site of the former Norton Air Force
Base. Located at the southeast corner of Victoria Avenue and 3rd Street, San Manuel Landing aligns with
the California Alliance Specific Plan and the City of San Bernardino General Plan for a long-term
sustainable investment in the community’s economic development.
The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians cares about the city of San Bernardino and its community
members. The Tribe has consistently done what’s best for our community. Their project, San Manuel
Landing, is one of our city’s best opportunities for creating jobs and bringing economic development at a
time when we need it most. San Manuel Landing has my vote. Please vote “YES” to give our city a
brighter future.
Sincerely,
Daniel Arias
President
San Bernardino School Police Officers Association.
