Agenda Item #3
Once again the City of San Bernardino is going to be the laughing stock of the
Inland Empire. The mayor is trying to illegally accommodate This developer
Oxbow 5B44 LLC.
This developer and Contractor Greenleaf have lied to the city and the residents
Since the project started. First major lie, the concrete was tested, he had the
permit to show it was clean. Still doesn't have a lab report stating that fact. If
he produces one now, how does he prove it's the same concrete from the Amazon
Building? As of 2 weeks ago, Kristen Jensen told us they had requested the
permit.
These two Oxbow and Greenleaf where paid very well to haul off this burned
Concrete to a Licensed Concrete Landfill, not a residential neighborhood.
Patrick Matich who owns Infinity Recycling a portable crushing plant in Riverside
is getting bids from trucking Outfits to haul away the crushed concrete from
this site when they sell it. They never intended to use it for fill, or maybe a very
small part. The size of the concrete dump is too large to maneuver crushing and
mixing with soil to use as fill.
Oxbow and Greenleaf don't care about the residents or the City. They only
Care about how much money they can make off this project. They didn't care
With the requirements of the TUP. They didn't have the sanitation, the portable
restrooms, or the wash stations. TUP states that no grading of any type shall
occur without the approval or proper grading permits issued by land
Development. Still don't have a grading permit. Why wasn't Oxbow made to issue
a bond? Make them issue on now.
As far as Oxbow 5844 LLC selling the property, they didn't really sell. They just
played their game and shuffled it around to their other partners changing the
names of the LLC.
The TUP called for a stock pile of Construction material, it never stated that
they could stock pile broken concrete to be crushed at another time. Broken
Concrete is not Construction material, it is construction debris. Stock piles
Are to be covered at all times. The 80 to 100 miles an hour winds are coming

And they have not taken means to protect the health and safety of the
residents of Verdemont. Your wards could be next.
You have heard a lot about this project that shouldn't of been allowed to
Happen. To many projects are being approved at the staff level. Its time
You put a stop to it. Thy have a job to protect the residents, if they don't do
Their job, fire them. How much money did the developers pay the mayor to push
this project through?
As far as the Resolution #2020-265, addressing the health and safety of the
residents for further projects to have to live by. They won't be able do
everything you are allowing Oxbow to do. I see as lawsuit here, you have to
treat every project the some. If its bad for further projects, why isn't it
hazardous for the residents now??
Resolution #2020-265 is being brought forward to consider the public health,
safety and welfare of the residents. It's time you applied these same principles
To the Oxbow project.
