Hello Mayor, Council, & City Staff,
My name is James Albert. I am a 20-yr, 7th ward resident here in the city of San
Bernardino. I am delighted to hear that our leaders are being proactive in potentially
acquiring this grant to renovate Seccombe Lake Park. Even if we do acquire this
grant, we must find sustainable revenue sources to renovate and upgrade all our
parks and recreation programs in the city and county of San Bernardino. San
Bernardino voters have an opportunity before us by voting Yes on Prop 15, which if
passed, is projected to bring in $12 million per year to the city of San Bernardino by
making sure large commercial and industrial properties are being fairly reassessed,
while keeping necessary protections in place for homeowners, renters, and small
business owners.
I appreciate Councilmember Mulvihill expressing his support for Prop 15 at the virtual
debate hosted by the League of Women Voters of the San Bernardino Area. To view
the forum in Enalish &/ Spanish. please visit
It should be noted that the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District and San
Bernardino Community College District have endorsed the Yes on 15 campaign. San
Bernardino USD is considering taking a position as well in the near future.
Thank you for your time and consideration. For more information, please visit our
campaign website. httos://www.yesl 5.org
Sincerely,
James Albert
