Hello,
I’m Joseph Escobar, I was born and raised in the Inland Empire, and I wanted to voice my dissatisfaction with the
boards racist action to curtail street vendors in San Bernardino. Street vendors are from the community and provide
for the community. In a time where unemployment is at an all time, these hard working individuals provide
affordable fresh & delicious produce to lower income areas across a county suffering food deserts. I urge the board
to do the right thing, and let these people work in peace, and not be targeted and harassed by law enforcement.
It’s unconscionable that the board would consider a such violent measure as to strip hard working people from
honest work, and encourage law enforcement to further brutalize these people.
Do the right thing we are all watching,
