As a local of San bernardino, and an avid voter rd like to ask why citizens are being coaxed to apply for large corporations during what is supposed to be a lock down. Speaking of San Bernardino alone, how are we to continue to risk lives for a paycheck. On channel 7 news this morning there was a segment providing companies that were still hiring. What do you as leaders plan to do to help the citizens you represent during this pandemic? Rent and mortgages should be forgiven or paused. Why are bill collectors still pushing for people to pay debts? Large corporations and warehouses should be paying wages and should do their part to slow the spread. The city is moving as if there isn't a disaster happening. Hospitals and healthcare workers are suffering. What are you as our elected officials planning to do about the pandemic within your city? Instead of worrying about construction, what are you all planning to do with your power to stop your citizens from dying by the masses.? I would like to share with you an update regarding Valley District. "On March 5, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom declared a State of Emergency as part of California's response to address the global outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). In response to this, the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District has been working behind -the -scenes to ensure there will be no interruption in service to the water retailers, cities, and mutual water companies who depend on us for a supplemental water supply. At this time, Valley District does not anticipate a disruption in service or delivery of water to our retailers. For more information, please call 909-387-9200 or email kristeenf@sbvmwd. com." The wreckage is not the only problem. The homeless have moved onto the property. They have furniture, tents, shopping carts, and trash all over the place. Its ruined this neighborhood.
