2 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
3 BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH STRADLING YOCCA CARLSON & RAUTH P.C.
4 FOR LEGAL SERVICES RELATED TO LITIGATION
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
6 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
7 SECTION 1. The City Manager of the City of San Bernardino or his designee is
8 hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City a Professional Services
9
Agreement between Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth P.C., the City of San Bernardino, and
10
11 the City of San Bernardino as Successor Agency to the former Redevelopment Agency of the
12 City of San Bernardino for legal services, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
13 herein as Exhibit "A," and to make such non-material revisions to said agreement with the
14 approval of the City Attorney as may be appropriate to effectuate the purposes of the
15 agreement and its execution.

SECTION 2. The authorization granted by this Resolution shall expire and be void
17
18 and of no further effect if the agreement is not executed by all parties within sixty (60) days
19 following the effective date of this Resolution.

4 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Mayor
5 and City Council of the City of San Bernardino at a joint regular meeting thereof, held on

the 6th day of March, 2017,by the following vote, to wit:
