Subject: Council Approval of Commercial and Payroll Checks
Recommendation
Approve the commercial and payroll checks for February 2017.
Background
Staff is required to submit completed commercial and payroll check registers to the City
Council for approval per Charter requirement. This happens on a regular basis, typically
every meeting for the most recently completed check registers.
The detailed warrant registers are available on the City Website, and are updated
weekly by Accounts Payable. The registers may be accessed by copying the following
link into an internet browser: http://sbcitV.org/cityhall/finance/warrant register-asp.
Discussion
The following check registers are being presented for approval:
January 19, 2017 2016/17 #37 $1,402,234.94
January 26, 2017 2016/17 #38 $854,287.68
January 31, 2017 2016/17 #39 $35,500.00
Total commercial check demands: $2,292,022.62
Gross Payroll
Semi-Monthly for 1/31/17 $2,286,766.74
Total payroll demands: $2,286,766.74
Fiscal Impact
Amounts noted in the check registers have no further fiscal impact. Amounts were paid
consistent with existing budget authorization and no further budgetary impact is
required.
Conclusion
It is recommended that the attached check registers be approved by the City Council.
