Following a competitive recruitment process, Ms. Matlock was selected to fill one
of two budgeted CDBG Program Assistant positions in the Office of the City
Manager. As a CDBG Program Assistant Ms. Matlock under general supervision 0
will be responsible for coordinating the Community Development Block Grant
program, provide technical support and assistance to federal grant fund sub-
recipients, assist with the development of housing and community development
plans and reports as required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD). Additionally, she will assist with monitoring performance for
all federally funded programs including the CDBG, ESG and HOME programs, a
project, and compliance acitivities for all funded entities. These functions are
essential in allowing the City to effectively manage federally funded entitlement
programs as the Grantee.

time Mr. Klopping is requesting to be reinstated as a full time sworn Police Officer with the City
of San Bernardino. Mr. Klopping has successfully completed the background investigation
requirement, and is eligible for reinstatement. This will fill one of the current vacancies for
Police Officer.
