EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH ST. PAUL'S
3 UNITED METHODIST CHURCH RELATING TO AN INCREASED FEE FOR USE OF
CERTAIN PREMISES BY CITY FOR COOKING CLASSES.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
5 ; OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS :

6 SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
7 J, hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City

8 � a First Amendment to Agreement with St. Paul ' s United Methodist
9 ; Church relating to an increased fee for use of certain premises by
i!
10 City for cooking classes, a copy of which is attached hereto,
11 marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference as
12 fully as though set forth at length.

13 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
14 ,' adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
15 ( Bernardino at a meeting thereof , held

I FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
2 (Use of Church Premises for Cooking Classes)
3 THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into between
4 ST. PAUL'S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, a non-profit corporation,
5 ;', referred to as "Church" , and the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a

6 I' municipal corporation, referred to as "City" .
7 Church and City agree as follows ;
8 1. Recitals.
9 (a) Church and City entered into an agreement on
10 ; December 4 , 1978 , relating to the use of certain Church premises

11 by City, through its Parks and Recreation Department, for cooking
12 I, classes.

13 (b) Due to increased utility costs , Church and City
I
14 I! desire to increase the fee charged by Church for use of its
1� I, premises.

16 2 . Payment. City shall pay to Church the sum of Fifteen
17 ' Dollars ($15 . 00) for each four-hour class session held on the
premises during the term of this amendment. The aforesaid com-
pensation shall not exceed the total sum of Three Hundred Dollars
! ($300, 00) for each fiscal year of the term hereunder.
3. Other Provisions . All other terms, conditions and
22 jcovenants of said agreement shall remain the same and be in full
23 I' force and effect.
24 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this First
