PORTIONS THEREOF . " ; REMOVING ORANGEWOOD PARK PARKING LOTS
4 FROM PARKING TIME LIMITATIONS; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 13332

6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY i
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1 . Resolution No. 8234, Section Two and Three--

Quarters, which establishes parking time limitations upon certain ;

designated vehicle parking lots in City parks , is hereby amended
10
to read as follows:
11 "SECTION TWO AND THREE-QUARTERS : Pursuant to the pro-
12
visions of Section One of Article IV of Ordinance No. 1652 of the
13
City of San Bernardino it is hereby found and determined that
14
the public convenience and necessity require that the parking of

I motor vehicles in or upon the vehicle parking lots of the follow- 1
16 ,I

ing designated City parks should be prohibited or limited, be-
tween the hours of 10: 00 p.m. of any day to 6 : 00 a.m. of the next
18
succeeding day, and it shall be unlawful for the operator of any
19
vehicle to stop, stand or park the said vehicle at any time in
20
or upon the said parking lots provider; for such vehicular parking,)

21 and any vehicle so parked on or left standing thereon after
22 11 : 00 p.m. may be removed, provided that signs are posted giving
23
notice of such removal :

10 Provided, however, that any athletic and recreation or

12 iRecreation shall be exempt from said parking prohibition or
limitation.

Provided further. , that the Chief of Police, or his designee,',!

' shall be authorized to close any parking lot of the designated
k.� City parks whene�., in his best judgment, it is necessary for the
f1 health, safety and welfare of the community. No person shall stop,
stand or park any %-,ehic.le in any of the above parking lots after
havina been informed that the Chief of Police, or his designee,
has ordered the parking Tot: to ho c:icsed. Any reh.icle so parked
: or left standing thereon may be rerloved. "
