A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT FROM WARNER W.
HODGDON AND SHARON D. HODGDON.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE:
That the City of San Bernardino does hereby accept an easement from
Warner W. Hodgdon and Sharon D. Hodgdon for a valuable consideration,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged; said real property is described
as follows:
All that portion of Lot 5, Tract No. 10518, as per plat recorded
in Book 145 of Maps , Pages 51 through 57, inclusive, records of
San Bernardino County, California, being a strip of land, 25.00
feet wide, lying 12.50 feet on each side of the centerline in the
southerly line of said Bond Street and to terminate in said north-
easterly line of State Highway Route 15.
And that the acceptance of this easement is necessary for pipeline purposes
and appurtenant facilities and the maintenance thereof in, over, under and
accross the above described property.
SECTION TWO:
That a copy of said easement is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" , and
made a part hereof as fully as though set forth at length herein.
SECTION THREE:
That all property affected by this transaction will be designated for
Water Department use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be attached to
said easement, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of San Bernardino County.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by
the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a regular meeting

SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT TO INSTALL 16" TRANSMISSION MAIN --
CAJON BLVD. TO LITTLE MOUNTAIN DRIVE (Hodgdon Property)
PROPOSED ACTION:
Approval of Resolution that provides for the acceptance of an easement from
Warner and Sharon Hodgdon.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The installation of a 16" diameter water transmission main from Cajon Boulevard
to the Freeway, then under the Freeway to Little Mountain Drive is essential to
the Water Department. The installation of this transmission facility will pro-
vide adequate volume and pressure for the domestic, commercial and fire flow
needs of our 1720' elevation system. The 1720' elevation system will serve major
users and areas such as California State College, San Bernardino, Culligan,
San Bernardino Industrial North, the golf course, and the Shandin Hills Develop-
ment.
ACTION:
To approve said resolution accepting an easement for water main purposes.
