2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SA14 BERNARDINO ACCEPTING THE REVIEW
3 APPRAISER'S REDETERMINATION OF FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED
SOUTH OF TENTH STREET AND EAST OF FLORES STREET, SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA,
4 AND CERTIFYING THE WORK. OF THE APPRAISERS.
5 WHEREAS, City of San Bernardino is contemplating the purchase of
6 that certain vacant land located South of Tenth Street and East of Flores
7 Street in the City of San Fernardinc; and
8 WHEREAS, Luciano V. Estrada and Sarah Estrada, husband and wife are

the owners of the lot and parcel of real property and
10
WHEREAS, The City desires to purchase the said lot and parcel of

real property and

WHEREAS, BY Resolution No. 13313 adopted June 26, 1978, the fair
i�
market value of said lot and parcel of real property was established at

$4,000 and
14
I; WHEREAS, time and circumstance has made it necessary to update
t5
the appraisal of said lot and parcel of real property and
16
WHEREAS, City has reviewed the Appraiser's update"' determination
17
of the fair market value of the land and their updated reports thereon and
18
has specifically reviewed and studied the review Appraiser's redetermination
19
of the fair market value and his updated report thereon; and
20
WHEREAS, the City intends to acquire said lct and parcel of real
21
property with Community Development funds.

NOG1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL

AS FOLLOWS:

1. That said lot and parcel of real property owned h.v Luciano
25
V. Estrada and Sarah Estrada, husband and wife and situated in the City of
26
San Bernardino generally South of Tenth Street and East of Flores Street

are described as follows:

I all that real property in the County of San Bernardino, State
of California , described as follows:

That portion of lots 12 and 13, Tract 2639, as per plat recorded
3 in Book 37 of Maps, page 50, records of said County, described as
follows:

Beginning at the northeast corner of the south 150 feet of Lot
5 13; thence north 00 08' 27" west along thp east lire of said
lot, 163.17 feet to the true point of beginning; thence south 89
6 ' 890 59' 12" west 124.15 feet to the west line of Lot 12; thence
north 00 08' 22" west along the west line of Lot 12, 313.26 feet
7 to Tenth Street as shown on Tract 2639, book 37 of Maps, page 50,
records of said County; thence south 890 57' 55" east along
8 Tenth Street 62.08 feet to the west line of Lot 13; thence south
0 08' 30" east along said west line 150.00 feet to the south
9 I line of the north 150 feet of Lot 13; thence south 890 57 ' 55"
east along said south line 62.08 feet to the east line of Lot 13;
10 thence south 00 U8' 27" east along the east line of Lot 13,
163.16 feet to the true point of beginning.

12 is hereby determined, based upon all of the Appraiser's updated reports
13 submitted herewith, to have a fair market value of $5,500 and said amount
14 is hereby re-established as the fair market value for said property.
2. The City of San Bernardino does hereby certify that the work
15
16 of the Appraisers and the review Appraiser with respect to the lot and
17
parcel of real property has been performed in a competent manner in accor-
dance with the applicable State law, the Act, and Department of Housing
18

19 and Urban Development policies and requirements.
