HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-152 RESOLUTION NO. � L 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ' EXECUTION OF A SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH THE REDEVELOP- 3 MENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO RELATING TO A FIVE YEAR EXTENSION OF THE AGREEMENT FOR SECURITY GUARDS IN THE CENTRAL CITY ' 4 MALL. 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 14AYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS : 6 SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is 7 8 hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City 9 a Second Amendment to Agreement with the Redevelopment Agency of 10 the City of San Bernardino relating to a five year extension of i 11 the agreement for security guards in the Central City Mall, a copy ' 12 i' of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated 13 , herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length. 14 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly IS adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San ICi Bernardino at a meeting thereof, held 17 on the — day of 2, 1980 , by the following vote, to wit: AYES : Councilmen r NAYS .. 22 ABSENT: ity Clerk 2� Opp The foregoing resolution is hereby approve s day " of 1980 . i 2'i -P[a y6 r f , e ity of an Bernardino Appr ved as to form:© j City A orney i I I k I SECOND A-MLENDMENT TO AGREEMENT 2 (Security Guard Program) 3 THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into 4 between the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a municipal corporation, S referred to as "City" , and the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY 6 .' OF SAN BERNARDINO, a local public agency, referred to as "Agency i 7 The parties agree as follows : 8 1 . Recitals. 9 (a) City and Agency entered into an agreement on III 10 May 22 , 1979 , and a First Amendment to Agreement on October 16, 11 11979, relating to a Security Guard Program in the public mall I 12 1lareas in the Central City Mall , which is referred to as "the I' 13 agreement°' . 14 (b) City and Agency now desire to amend the agreement 1 to provide for a five year extension of the term. 16 2. Term. The term of the agreement is extended, to expire 17 on May 20 , 1985 . 3 . Other Provisions .
