2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING THE REVIEW
APPRAISER'S DETERMINATION OF FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED
3 NEAR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF ELEVENTH STREET AND MT. VERNON AVENUE
(PONDEROSA MOTEL) , SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA, AND CERTIFYING THE WORK
4 1 OF THE APPRAISERS.
5 WHEREAS, City of San Bernardino is contemplating the purchase of

6 I that certain property located near the Northwest corner of Eleventh Street
7 and Mt. Vernon Avenue (Ponderosa Motel ) , in the City of San Bernardino, and
8 WHEREAS, Titus L. White and Elsie White, husband and wife, as joint
9 tenants are the owners of the lot and parcel of real property and Motel
ID l type buildings situated thereon; and

11 WHEREAS, The City desires to now purchase the said lot and parcel
12 of real property and Motel type buildings situated thereon; and
43 WHEREAS, City has reviewed the appraisers determination of the fair
�4 market value of the land and buildings and their reports thereon and has
15 specifically reviewed and studied the review appraiser's determination of

16 the fair market value and his report thereon, and
17 WHEREAS, The City intends to purchase said lot and parcel of real
18 property and buildings with Community Development funds,
19 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL AS
20 FOLLOWS:
21 1. That said lot and parcel of real property and Motel type
22 buildings situated thereon owned by Titus L. White and Elsie White, husband
23 and wife, as joint tenants in the City of San Bernardino at 1116 No.
24 Mt. Vernon Avenue are described as follows :
25 I All that real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of
California, described as follows:
26 Lot 5, of D. Field's Subdivision, as per plat recorded in Book 5
of Maps, page 79, records of the County Recorder of San Bernardino
27 ! County, State of California.

28 EXCEPTING therefrom the Southerly 64.5 feet of the Easterly 135
feet thereof.

ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom any portion lying within Herrington Road.
2 is hereby determined, based upon all of the appraisers ' reports submitted
3 herewith, to have a fair market value of $45,000. and said amount is
4 hereby established as the fair market value for said property.
5 2. The City of San Bernardino does hereby certify that the work
6 of the appraisers and the review appraiser with respect to the lot and
7 parcel of real property and Motel type buildings situated thereon has been
8 performed in a competent manner in accordance with the applicable State Law,
9 the Act, and Department of Housing and Urban Development policies and
10 requirements.
11 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted
12 by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a.
13 meeting thereof, held on the jZ
