HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-061 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING THE ( SALE OF A PORTION OF A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN 3 j THE CENTRAL CITY NORTH PROJECT AREA TO VANIR RESEARCH COMPANY BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO (HEALTH 4 & SAFETY CODE SECTION 33433) . i 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CO.WION COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 6 ! SECTION 1. Recitals. j 7 ! (a) The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino! 8 proposes to sell to Vanir Research Company, hereinafter referred i 9 I to as "Developer" , a portion of a parcel of real property located 10 within the Central City North Project Area, described in Exhibit 11 "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as 12 I i though set forth in full, for the sum of $31 , 000 . 00 which will 13 be paid by the Developer in cash; 14 (b) Notice of the time and place of hearing has been 15 i i 16 given as required by law; 17 (c) The Redevelopment Agency has made available for 18 public inspection and copying a summary of financial aspects of I 19 the proposed sale; j 20 (d) The summary of financial aspects represents that the I 21 fair market value of the interest to be conveyed determined at 22 the highest use permitted under the plan is $30 ,000 . 00; and j 23 (e) All hearings have been heard as required by Health 24 and Safety Code Section 33433 . 25 SECTION 2 . Determination. Based upon the representations i ?6 of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino, it is 27 found and declared that the consideration for said real property, } 28 in accordance with covenants and conditions governing such sale, I is not less than the fair market value of the property determined i 2 '', at the highest use permitted under the plan. it 3 1 SECTION 3. Approval. The Mayor and Common Council of the r 4 ii City of San Bernardino hereby approve the sale of said property 5 upon the terms, conditions, and for the reasons set forth herein. 6 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly 7 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San i 8 Bernardino at a ,.
