4 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING A LIEN ON
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
5 FOR THE COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE.
6 WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its
7 authority under City Ordinance No. 2291 and other
8 laws did lawfully cause a public nuisance to be abated on Project
9 No. 1478 on the 19th day of December 19 79 , on
10 the real property hereinafter described; and
11 WHEREAS, due notice was given to the person or persons
12 khaving an interest in said property and a hearing was held to
13 hear protests and to assess the costs of said abatement on said
14 property on the 21st day of January , 19 80
15 NOW, THEREFORE, 3E IT PE SOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
16 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS :
17 SECTION 1. The hearing is closed; the costs are found to
18 have been duly incurred by the City pursuant to proceedings under
19 said Ordinance; and the final statement of costs on file with the
20 City Clerk is hereby confirmed and adopted as a special assessment
21 in the sum of Three Hundred Eighty-One Dollars Thirty Cents
22 against the property known as
23 770 W. 17th Street, San Bernardino, California 92405
24 and more particularly described Lot 85, College Square Tract No.
25 1737, as Recorded in Book 25 of Maps, Page 58 , Records of said
26 County.

3 SECTION 2. if said sum is not fully paid to the City
4 Clerk, City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the
5 passage of this Resolution, then said sum shall be and become a
6 lien on said property pursuant to said Ordinance and applicable
7 laws and shall be collected as a special assessment thereon.
8 SECTION 3. In the event said sum is not paid as herein-
9 above provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file certi-
10 Ified copies of this Resolution with the Recorder and the Auditor
11 of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing
12 that said sum be entered as lien charges against said property
13 as it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected
14 at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same
15 penalties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes
16 for the City of San Bernardino are collected.

18 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San

Dear Mr Miller:
In answer to a complaint, an inspection was made of the above
structure. It was found to be immediately hazardous to public
safety and ordered abated by the Building Inspector pursuant to
provisions of Ordinance 2291 . Certain costs were accrued in the
abatement of this condition. The total costs accrued for:
Secured the premises from unauthorized entry. Cleaned the lot of
debris and weeds.
are $ 381 .30 These costs are now due and payable. An
appeal may be made within ten (10) days to the Common Council .
The costs incurred shall become a lien upon the real property unless
paid to the City Clerk within thirty (30) days of the mailing of
this notice.
