This candidate is recommended to fill one of those budgeted positions that is currently vacant.

The Finance Department has extensive accounting support needs requiring qualified
staff with the knowledge and skills to perform a broad range of higher level accounting
duties. Linda South is a long-term City employee with the skills and knowledge needed
to fulfill the responsibilities of the Finance Department, including, but not limited to, fund
accounting, auditing, budgeting and the preparation of accounting-related claims and a
statements allowing for expenditure reimbursement. Ms. South meets the flex criteria
1 and is recommended to promotion to the Accountant II position.
