Nine (9) motorcycles are in desperate need of replacement with severely worn suspensions, motors and transmissions. The vehicles have 85, 000 or more miles on each vehicle. The lowest bidder, Kawasaki of Riverside, did not submit a bid bond. The bond is a material requirement of the bid package. Therefore, the bid of Pomona Valley Kawasaki for $65,894.51 is considered as meeting the bid requirement. Specifications as bid have been reviewed with the Fleet Manager who concurs that the bid of Pomona Valley Kawasaki meets specifications and requirements.
