The resolution has subsequently been amended by Resolution Nos. 82-402, 83-462, 84-17, 84-428, 85-97, 86-105, 88-420, 89-16, 91-12 and 92-466, to change filing requirements of various positions and commissions in the City as outlined in Appendix A and Appendix B. ", by amending Appendices A and B to add, delete and change the titles of various positions within departments of the City which must file Conflict of Interest Statements. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Fair Political Practices Commission mandates that for each even-numbered year, the City Clerk review the City's Conflict of Interest Code and provide the Mayor and Council with a report. All departments were requested to review the list of currently designated employees for their respective departments and submit any proposed deletions, changes and/or additions. Therefore, it is recommended that the Mayor and Members of the City Council adopt the form motion. list of designated employees and shall disclose pursuant to the broadest 14 disclosure category in the code subject to the following limitation: 15 The Mayor may determine in writing that a particular 16 consultant, although a "designated position, " is hired to perform a range of duties that is limited in scope and thus 17 is not required to fully comply with the disclosure requirements described in this section. Such written 18 determination shall include a description of the consultant's duties and, based upon that description, a statement of the 19 extent of disclosure requirements.
