Further that the property by reappraised to include any recent changes in market rental rates and property values. On November 7, 1996,the Community Development Commission and the Mayor and Common Council adopted resolutions making findings and authorizing execution of a Disposition and Development Agreement(DDA)by and between the Redevelopment Agency and Premis Partners in the Northwest Redevelopment Project Area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OPEN PUBLIC HEARING CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING Recommended Motion(s): (Community Development Commission) MOTION A: RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING A CERTAIN AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AND PREMIS PARTNERS (Motion(s)Continued to Next Page...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contact Person(s): Ronald E.Winkler/John Hoe eg r Phone: 5081 Project Area(s): Northwest(NW) Ward(s): Six(6) Supporting Data Attached:❑X Staff Report❑x Resolution(s) El Agreement(s)/Contract(s)0 Map(s) ❑ Ltr/Memo FUNDING REQUIREM&S: Amount:: $ N/A Source: N/A Budget Authority: N/A ` SIGNATURE: Administra Ronald E.Wi kler,Director Development ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Commission/Council Notes: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ REW:lag:04-06-05.cdc COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA MEETING DATE: 04/06/19f98 Agenda Item Number: [ L Economic Development Agency Staff Report Premis Partners (Russ Hatle) - Amendment March 31, 1998 Page Number-2- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Redevelopment Committee considered this matter and recommended that the Commission authorize the Amendment. From the point of view of the Agency, this is a problem that must be solved to make the property saleable. It appears that the required flood proofing will either increase the cost of any development or reduce the size of the improvements that can be built. Whether or not Premis ultimately exercises its option, the Agency will benefit from additional design work on flood proofing options for the site. Based upon the foregoing, staff recommends adoption of the resolution. 4Z/I Z RONALD .
