CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FnR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
The last adjustment of the salary of the mayor was made in
1974 when it was set at $32, 000. Due to the effects of inflation
the same salary would be $93, 400 today. For twenty years there has
been no change in the compensation paid to the executive officer of
this city with a budget in excess of $100,000,000. This ordinance
would place the question of what the Mayor should be paid before
the voters at the November 7, 1995, election.
