Description) Finance: Council Notes: Agenda Item No. CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO — REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT SUBJECT: Amend Resolution No. 82-323, Section 12 to address a change in the meeting time of the Board of Fire Commissioners BACKGROUND: Since 8/92, the Board of Fire Commissioners has met at 12:15 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, as directed by Resolution. The Board of Fire Commissioners has requested a change in the Resolution, to allow the Chairman to select the meeting time on a month by month basis. The proposed change would not affect the meeting day, which would remain as the first Tuesday of the month. This change would provide some latitude to the Chairman to select a meeting time that is most convenient for the majority of those affected. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None RECOMMENDATION: Adopt amended resolution. �© p 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING 3 RESOLUTION NO. 82-323 ENTITLED IN PART "RESOLUTION . . . PROVIDING NOTICE OF THE TIMES, DATES, AND PLACES OF REGULAR 4 MEETINGS OF THE VARIOUS BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES . " TO CHANGE THE TIME WHEN THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS 5 MEETS; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 84-74 . 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY 7 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS : 8 SECTION 1 . Resolution NO. 82-323 Section 12 is amended to 9 read as follows : 10 "SECTION 12 . The Board Of Fire Commissioners of the City 11 shall meet at a time as designated by the Chairman, on the first 12 Tuesday of each month at the Central Fire Station, 200 East 13 Third Street, San Bernardino, California.
