3 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CIT
4 OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR
5 UNCOLLECTED BUSINESS REGISTRATION FEES.
6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY O
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

8 SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its authority under Sair
9 Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 5.04.076 does hereby impose liens on the real property
10 described on Exhibits "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for uncollected
11 business registration fees and all future fees and penalties.

Due notice was given to the person or persons having an interest in said property and pe
13
14 notice dated April 18, 2016, a hearing was held by the Mayor and Common Council to heal
15 protests and to assess the fees imposed on said property.
16 SECTION 2. The matter having now come before the Mayor and Common Council fo
17 confirmation of the imposition of the liens imposed, the fees set forth on Exhibit "A" are found
18
to have been uncollectible after proper notification to the property/business owner pursuant t
19
20 proceedings under Chapter 5.04.076 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code. The statements o
21 fees on file with the City Clerk are hereby confirmed and adopted as special assessments agains
22 the properties listed on Exhibits "A" attached hereto.
