Dennis indicates that the Economic Development Agency needs to take separate action amending its current resolution to update and include the changes previous submitted to the City Clerk. In January 1991 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 91-12 which included in its list of designated employees, certain staff members of the Development Department. Since the Development Department has now merged with the Economic Development Agency, the list of designated employees must be amended to cover that change and any other changes which may have occurred since the Conflict of Interest Code was last amended. Staff recommends adoption of the form motion. We intend to maintain the files at this office and will administer the program ourselves. We have researched our resolutions and agendas and have no prior record of submitting an agenda item for a Conflict of Interest Code or to designate certain positions to file statements. Apparently, the Redevelopment Agency always used the City Code for compliance in the past.
