Background:
Per City of San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 2.01.010 "Mayor Pro Tempore",
and pursuant to Ordinance MC 1289, the Common Council is required to elect a Council
Member to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore at the second regularly scheduled meeting of
the Mayor and Common Council in March of each year.
