Drive; " a.nd the transfer of $4 , 000 , from Account No. 250-370-
3405 , "Undesignated Fund Balance, " to Account No. 250-370-5504-
1701 , "Traffic Signal Modifications - Kendall Drive and Little
Mountain Drive, " be approved. AND
2 . Adopt resolution.

STAFF REPORT
Bids for modification of the traffic signals and drainage
improvements, at Kendall Drive and Little Mountain Drive, were
opened at 2 : 00 p.m. , Tuesday, 4-11-95.
A total of 7 bids were received, ranging from $81 , 145. 00
to $93 , 071 . 50 . The low bid of $81 ,145. 00 is 14 . 0% over the Engi-
neer' s Estimate of $71 , 156 . 00 .
Below is an estimate of the total project cost, based
upon the actual low bid price.

the costs that will be incurred for this project. Supplemental

In view of the number of bids submitted, it appears that
the Engineer' s Estimate did not fully reflect current pricing
trends. Therefore, we recommend that the required supplemental
funding be provided, and a contract awarded to the low bidder.
