3 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO
4 THE JOINT AGREEMENT WITH LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY FOR GATEWAY
5 HEALTH CENTER CAMPUS OFF-SITE STREET IMPROVEMENTS.

7 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a First Amendment to
9
10 the Joint Agreement with Loma Linda University for Gateway Health Center Campus off-site
11 street improvements. Said Agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit"A."
12 SECTION 2. The authorization given above is null and void if the Agreement is
13
not executed within 60 days and returned to the Office of the City Clerk.

EXHIBIT A
FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AND LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY FOR GATEWAY HEALTH
CENTER CAMPUS OFF-SITE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
That certain Joint Agreement ("Agreement") between Loma Linda University ("LLU")
and City of San Bernardino ("City"), dated December 21, 2015, to which Agreement reference is
hereby made for all of the terms and conditions therein contained, is hereby amended in each of
the following particulars:
SECTION 1. The Period of Performance of the Agreement as set forth in Article 1
thereof is hereby extended until September 29,2035.
SECTION 2. Except as modified hereby, all terms and conditions of said
Agreement remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, each party hereto has caused this amendment to be executed by its
duly authorized officer to be effective as of the last date of signature.

CENTER CAMPUS OFF-SITE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
