8. ARDEN-GUTHRIE RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
(Community Development Commission)
MOTION: That the Community Development Commission appropriate $25,000
from its Twenty Percent Set-Aside Housing Fund for relocating
low to moderate income households from the Arden-Guthrie area
to decent, safe and sanitary housing.

9. TREE PLANTING PROGRAM FOR CITY/COMMISSIONED-OWNED PROPERTIES
(Community Development Commission)
MOTION: That the Community Development Commission appropriate
financial assistance in an amount not to exceed $20,000 from
its tax allocation bond proceeds beautification fund to
finance the moving and planting of olive trees to
City/Commissioned-owned land.

S-1 Approval of request for civic and promotional funding in the
amount of $1,000 - Women of Achievement. (See Attached)
MOTION: That the request for civic and promotional funding
in the amount of $1,000 to assist the Women of
Achievement Committee in the celebration of March
as Women of Achievement month, be approved.
S-2 Ordinance of the City of San Bernardino amending Chapter
8. 90 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code relating to mobile
home rent stabilization. (Document being prepared. )
MOTION: That said ordinance be laid over for final
adoption.
S-3 Approval of $8,000 from Third Ward Park Extension Funds for
the acquisition of a monument sign and an air hockey game
for Nicholson Center. (See Attached) Ward 3
MOTION: That $8,000 from Third Ward Park Extension Funds
for the acquisition of a monument sign and an air
hockey game for Nicholson Center be approved.

S-4 Public Hearing - to be heard at 10:00 a.m. - to consider
annexation of the territory generally located east of
Waterman Avenue, south of Central Avenue. (LAFCO 2644)
(Document being prepared),
Resolution of the City of San Bernardino determining that
less than twenty-five percent of protests by registered
voters and less than twenty-five percent of protests by
property owners have been filed and ordering Annexation No.
351 (LAFCO 2644) for the territory generally located east of
Waterman Avenue, south of Central Avenue, and detachment
from CSA 38, CSA 38-G, CSA 70, CSA 70-A and CSA SL-1.

MOTION: That the public hearing to receive, consider and
11 rule upon written protests in the matter of
annexation of the territory generally located east
of Waterman Avenue, south of Central Avenue,
designated LAFCO 2644 be closed.
MOTION: That said resolution be adopted.

S-5 Resolution of the City of San Bernardino authorizing the
execution of a cooperative agreement with the State of
California Department of Transportation relating to
installation of traffic control signals at Redlands
Boulevard and eastbound off-ramp to Waterman Avenue from
Route I-10 . (Document being prepare) Ward 3
MOTION: That said resolution be adopted.

S-6 Approve the transfer of the Mobile Home Park Rental
Assistance Program from the County of San Bernardino to the
City of San Bernardino. (See Attached)
MOTION: Approve the transfer of the Mobile Home Park
Rental Assistance Program from the County of San
Bernardino to the City and direct the Mobile Home
Rent Board in conjunction with the Development
Department to allocate the appropriate funding and
develop documentation for program implementation.
