Annexation of Fire and Related Services.

RES. 2016-33 — Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino Reciting the Facts of the General Municipal Election Held in Said City on the
2°d Day of February 2016, Declaring the Results Thereof and Setting Forth Such Other
Matters as Are Provided by Law.

4. Public Comments for Items not on Agenda
John Gaede of Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown's office, discussed upcoming events in
the district and invited people to a town hall meeting about the logistics industry on
March 4, 2016, at noon, at San Bernardino Valley College.
Jay Lindberg, San Bernardino, spoke about NAFTA, TPP, and Hillary Clinton
Karmel Roe, San Bernardino, asked people to visit rescuesb.com to download a petition
and asked for volunteers.
Robert Porter, San Bernardino, praised the Council for an earlier vote and thanked
Council Member Barrios for his support of the cannabis community.
Scott Olson, San Bernardino, said it was time for the Mayor to be strong and said he
would be willing to work with him. He said the City should stop solving the bankruptcy
by doing the same thing that made the City bankrupt.
Sandra Ibarra, San Bernardino, spoke about last weekend's Seccombe Lake clean-up.
She added that she was confident that the residents would protest the parcel tax in great
numbers.
Marven Norman, Redlands, spoke about bicycle lanes and asked that the Council
consider grants that are available.
William Cioci, San Bernardino, spoke about Adelanto's and Desert Hot Springs' policies
to allow cannabis cultivation, despite bans on sales.

0 The meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m. The next joint regular meeting of the Mayor and
Common Council and the Mayor and Common Council Acting as the Successor Agency
to the Redevelopment Agency is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016.
